Qualifications – NVQ4 Child Care Learning & Development, First Aid, Level 2 Food Standards, Fire warden

Role at  Nursery- Administration, accounts, purchasing, maintenance, health and safety, marketing

Other roles -  representing the views of member groups on the National Day Nursery Association expert panel, represents the nursery at area meetings, registered person for the Nursery setting

 

Lisa Jones - Officer in Charge and Positive Discipline Officer

Start date – Dec 1997

Qualifications-  NNEB, NVQ4 Child Care Learning & Development, First Aid, Level 2 Food Standards, Fire Warden

Daily role at nursery – Managing the Nursery on a daily basis, parent liaison, staffing and administration

Other roles – overseeing behavioural issues, representing the nursery at area meetings, risk assessments

 

Jane Sheehy - Deputy Officer in Charge, Child Protection Officer and Special Needs Officer

Start date - May 1999

Qualifications -  NNEB, NVQ4 Child Care Learning & Development, First Aid, Level 2 Food Standards, Fire Warden

Daily role at Nursery – Supporting the manager on a daily basis,  overseeing the baby and tots floor, working with the special needs children, parent liaison

 All staff have been registered with CSSIW plus checked and passed by the Criminal Records Bureau to work with young children.

All staff within the Nursery have access to many educational and informational courses to keep up to date on Child Care issues and all staff have achieved their First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates.
