  We are open from 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday
  
  
•  Ages Of Children
  
  The nursery accepts children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The groups are made up of the following ages:

1. Baby group (0 - 1yrs)
2. Tots group (1 - 2yrs)
3. Toddler group (2 - 3yrs)
4. Preschool group (3yrs - 5yrs)
   
   Each group has a qualified Nursery Nurse and NVQ trained Nursery Assistant.

•  Activities
  
  Daily activities are planned for each group to ensure they make full use of the facilities available and the preschool group follow an educational plan based on the National Curriculum. Sometimes, the children are taken on small trips in the local community, shopping, visiting the local library or Pontypool Park.
  
  
•  Meal
  
  A home cooked, nutritionally balanced meal is freshly prepared on a daily basis for all children and is usually served around 12am. A mid-morning snack and afternoon tea are also served around 9am & 3.30pm. All meals & example menus are available on request.
  
  
•  Equal Opportunities
  
  The nursery aims to provide the same level of care, understanding and education, regardless of special needs, ethnic origin, religion, race and gender. We aim to promote anti-discriminatory practice across all levels of the nursery.
  
  
•  Security
  
  The nursery has a door entry intercom system linked to a camera so that staff are always aware of who is being allowed access to the nursery. All staff at the nursery are police checked and registered with the Care Standards Inspectorate of Wales.
  
  
• Fees
  
  Childcare charges are as follows (includes any lunch or food provided):
  
  

  Half-day	8am - 1pm / 1pm - 6pm	£16.50
  Full-day	8am - 6pm	£29
  Full week	8am - 6pm, Mon - Fri	£126
